2.Collection and Use of Personal Information

2.1 Nature of Information Collected

Your personal information is information that concerns you as a natural person and allows you to be identified, such as your first and last name, username, user ID (# ID), home address, email address, home phone number, cell phone number, IP address, employment information (job title and name of the organization you work for, professional contact details), your message sent to Edilex via one of our contact forms, and the information on your credit card. The collection of this personal information occurs at various times when you browse our Websites, including:

When we communicate your personal information to service providers, we enter into written contracts with them before your personal information is communicated to them, and we provide them only the personal information necessary for their mandate’s execution. In these contracts concluded with our service providers, we commit to ensuring that the principles set out in this Policy are respected, and these service providers are required to use the personal information according to our instructions and only for the purposes for which it was provided. Additionally, these service providers provide us with sufficient guarantees regarding the implementation of adequate protection measures proportional to the sensitivity of the personal information processed or communicated. 3. Non-Personal Information and Google Analytics

The statistical information we collect is not related to your personal information and does not serve to identify you. This information includes, notably, the browsers used (for example, Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer) and their language, the approximate location of users’ IP addresses, as well as the pages visited and the duration of their consultation.

5.Modifications to Our Privacy Policy

The Policy is effective as of September 22, 2023. Edilex reserves the right to update the Policy at any time. When Edilex makes changes to the Policy, we will also modify the “Last Updated” date as found at the top of Edilex’s privacy policy. We encourage you to periodically review the Policy to be informed about how Edilex protects your information and to be aware of any changes to the Policy. Your use of the Websites after posting an amended version of the Policy constitutes your consent to be subject to these changes. This Policy is incorporated into all the Terms that govern the various Websites and all the programs and services used or managed for or on behalf of Edilex. A version of the Policy is available in English. In case of discrepancies between the two versions, the French version prevails over the English version.
